Tucked into the left bank of Cedar Creek as you enter historic Black Rock Harbor, is Cedar Marina, a wonderful family friendly haven; a perfect place to spend your boating summer! Family owned and operated for over 65 years, Cedar Marina boasts 140 slips, including up to eight available for transients. Pump-out, hull and engine repair, electrical service and mechanical repairs are some of the services provided. The Marina has operated under the Gulia family for three generations and is equipped with factory trained technicians on staff for MerCruiser, Volvo, and Mercury Outboards. Frank also runs their Marine Dredging business. During the warm boating season, Frank can be found helping customers with a smile all while thinking about his next house project (which is likely to drive Kathy crazy). While continuing the family tradition of working at the marina, you’ll see Mike, Frank’s and Kathy's son working alongside his father. Mike, a recent RPI grad with a degree in mechanical engineering, has chosen to work with his father! Frank Sr. continues to keep the team on their toes from warm and sunny Florida during the winter and summer months! For the fisherman in your family, the marina provides a bait and fish preparation station and the restaurant, South on Bostwick, makes wonderful food you can enjoy here at the marina or take it to go!
Enter Cedar Creek from Black Rock Harbor; just beyond Penfield Light from the west and Black Rock (Fayerweather Island) Light from the east. Proceed up to the entrance channel approximately 3/4 mile into Cedar Creek. The marina is visible to port, just past Captain’s Cove Seaport Marina.
